Karolin, estate (Dołhinów rural commune). Konstancin Niezabytowski, wife Magdalena, daughter and friend, with 2 dogs along Wilya river on their estate, Karolin. The river was the Polish-Russian border at the time. Photo 1/2. During the night of September 16/17, 1939 when the Soviet Army crossed the border, K. Niezabytowski was wounded in a leg and taken away. From recently released documents; K. Niezabytowski was taken to the prison in Wilejka where he died before December 1939. I believe his wife and children survived the war and am looking for more information about them.
