Darek - Other people living in England are researching Chlebowicz. Their village of interest is Szaltenie on the south shore of lake Drywiaty, Braslaw.
All I have seen for Bobowicz follows:
In 1885 Wincenty Tujanowicz married Faustiana Bobowicz (both 25) - he was from Pancielejki and she was living in Pietuchowszczyzna, but she was born in Podmujce? or Podmunie (unclear but both are in Dryswiaty parish), so that may be of interest to you. Her mother was Zofia Bobawicz. No father named.
1896 Benedict Rakicki marries Susanna Podloska. Benedict's mother is a Zofia Bobowicz Rakicka and they lived in Pietuchowszczyzna. His father was Matvej. The bride's mother was originally from Konce, Dryswiaty. Both the bride and groom had lived in Braslaw locale since 1891 and 1890 respectively.
1897 Justin Rakicki marries Apolonia? Kukian. Justin's parents are also Matvej and Zofia (Bobowicz) Rakicki, living in Pietuchowszczyzna still. Apolonia is from Pancielejki. One of the witnesses is named as a Tujanowicz another is a Benedict Rakicki.
1901 Benedict Rakicki, a widower marries Barbara Maslowska. Benedict's parents are Matej and Zofia (Bobowicz) Rakicki. Benedict's birth place is the town of Braslaw and he is 33 in 1901. The bride comes from Nowo Projekt.
1902 Alexander Rakicki (different parents to the above) marries Anna Drodzowska. A witness is named as a Josef Bobowicz.
1909 a Josef Rakicki marries Agnetka Trabun. Josef's parents are Matvej & Zofia (B) Rackicki of Piatuchowszczyzna. The bride is from Lapki. They are 30 and 25 respectively.
ZOFIA = there is a part declaration in 1859 where Zofia is said to live in Podmunie Dryswiaty, but it still could be Podmujce as the handwriting is unclear. As her first child is Faustian who is born circa 1860, it could be part of the bride's registration or part of a birth registration. Sofia either had her daughter out of wedlock or she was widowed prior to, or subsequent to the birth.
