folwark Chernovka

Message:

I found a photo dated 1905, with one word only: Чернувка. According to what I know, people represented therein are my grandfather Дмитрий Алексеевич Пономарев, his mother Ekaterina, brather Александр and sister Ксения. Ekaterina was a daughter of a high-ranked officer (? General) of German origin, von Burmeister. Дмитрий was a son of a customs officer. Prbably they belonged to the local gentry.

My grandfather was an officer in the emperor's army, his wife belonged to nobility, and they had to escape the persecution of the Communist regime, so they ended up in Yugoslavia. The rest of the family stayed in Russia, I believe that both Александр and Ксения inclined towards Communism. They stayed in contact with my grandfather till mid- or late thirties, and then all the communication ceased. My family tried to trace them after the 2nd world war, but did not succeed.

I would like to know if there is anyone of their families alive. I believe that фольварк Чернувка could belong to our family
