Родился в д. Барановка Злынковского района Брянской обл.
В 1933 году окончил 7 классов Чуровической НСШ Брянской обл.
В 1934 году – 10-ти месячные курсы преподавателей труда при Суксунском политехническом техникуме.
В 1936 году окончил 3 курса – заочно Суксунского политехнического техникума Молотовской (Пермской) обл.
Призван Кунгурским РВК 25. 09. 1936.
1936 - 1939 г. учился в Свердловском пехотном училище.
Участие в войнах:
Халхин-Гол 12. 08. 39-23. 08. 39, 82-я СД - комвзвода, 196-й отд. пулеметно-зенитный батальон, ранен осколком в лицо и правый глаз 23. 08. 39.
Демобилизован в марте 1960 г. Майор в отставке.
