Proszę o informację, jeśli ktoś z Państwa ma informacje o Pancewiczach ze Stoków lub okolic. Okolice Stoków do między innymi Dąbrowa.
Od osoby spokrewnionej z Pancewiczami uzyskałem informację, że rodzina mogła pochodzić z dworu znajdującego się nie bezpośrednio w Stokach, ale znajdującego się w Dąbrowie albo obok Dąbrowy (koło Stoków właśnie).
Według mojej wiedzy, spośród moich przodków w linii prostej ostatnimi tam zamieszkałymi w Stokach lub okolicy byli Julian Pancewicz (syn Jana i Józefy) i Tekla Pancewicz. Ostatnia data, o której wiadomo, że tam pozostawali to okres powstania styczniowego. W związku z udziałem Juliana w powstaniu zostali zmuszeni przez Władze carskie do opuszczenia majątku (w roku 1864 najpewniej) - przy tym szczegóły okoliczności wyjazdu ze Stoków nie są znane.
We dworze, po wyjeździe Juliana i Tekli, Pancewicze, którzy tam pozostali zamieszkiwali na pewno do lat 30. Według rodzinnych podań dwie stare panny Pancewicz w latach 30 wydzierżawiały majątek dzierżawcom.
