My father was born in the village of Kozince, close to Dzikuski, in 1918. Your grandfather Viktor Plavsky officiated at the marriage of his parents in the church at Dzikuski.

Основной комплекс документов по территории Виленской губернии (в т. ч. по территории современных Браславского, Вилейского, Воложинского, Вороновского, Глубокского, Ивьевского, Лидского, Миорского, Молодечненского, Мядельского, Поставского, Островецкого, Ошмянского, Сморгонского, Шарковщинского районов) находится на хранении в Государственном историческом архиве Литвы (Lietuvos valstybės istorijos archyvas) по адресу: Gerosios Vilties g. 10, 03134 Vilnius, Lithuania. Большой комплекс документов по генеалогии белорусских земель (например метрические книги XVIII в. по территории, которая в конце названного столетия вошла в состав Вилейского, Лидского, Минского, Ошмянского, Пинского, Пружанского, Речицкого, Слонимского, Слуцкого уездов Виленской, Гродненской и Минской губерний) находится на хранении в Российском государственном историческом архиве по адресу: пр-т Заневский, 36, 195112 г.
