Moj ojciec urodzil sie w Gakianach ( Jan Pawlowicz) i mieszkal tam do 1958 roku. Pamieta Samforiana (samforke) Kondrata, wielu roznych Papszeli, Pietkiel byl kowalem (jedna z jego corek mieszkala w okolicy jeszcze w 2010), oraz Helene Kupeć ( wyjechala ze siostra i jej rodzina prawdopodobnie do Ketrzyna).
