Hi.. . her name was michalina michanowicz.. .. she was born in 1894. According to the ships manifest she was from milejkowo poland. Im trying to find out if milejkowo waz actually in russia at the time of her birth or lithuania. Thank you very much for your help. Her mothers and fathers names are wincenty michanowicz and paulina strach.. . in one if the items ive seen it says her race was lithuanianreply

Где она родилась мне не известно, но ее брат Василевский Степан Антонович в 60 годы прошлого столетия со своей семьей жил в деревне Милейково Сморгонского района, они переписывались, ездили в гости. Из детства я помню, что дедушка Степан однажды приезжал со своим внуком - его звалик Олик, и он примерно мой ровесник. Сегодня ему наверное около 55 лет. В семье Олик был не один, но я к сожалению не помню имен других своих родственников. Хотелось бы найти свои корни, может быть встретитьсяreply
Моя бабушка Гордевич Екатерина Иосифовна примерно 1916-1918г. р. Была рождена вроде как в Америке и имя при рождении дали ей Кйт(люди звали Кейда).
В малолетнем возрасте с родителями приехала и жила в Милеэйкава. Ее отец ,мой прадед Гордевич Иосиф Викентьевич(в семье было не меньше 6 детей) хотелось бы узнать что небудь о своих родствениках. А так же я ищу свою национальную принадлежность. И прадед и бабушка были поляками. Проблема в том что перед смертью бабушки сгорел дом,документы. Пожар подорвал здоровье,бабушка скончалась. Моя мама в детский дом поступила также без документов. Может подскажете куда обратится. reply
