My grandfathers family also owned a farmstead in Moszewicze and were deported to Siberia on 10 February 1940. His parents were Jan and Maria Makuch with their children Mieczyslaw (my grandad) Tadeusz, wieronika, Marysia and Janek. I wonder if the two families knew each other as I believe it was a small village but I do not have any information on the area.

Моя девичья фамилия Мелешко и я родилась в деревне Мошевичи. Фамилия моей мамы девичья тоже Мелешко. То есть и по отцу я Мелешко и по маме. reply
