Деревня Щелбово расположенная за деревней Смоловка относилась ранее к Бескатовской волости Городокского уезда. А на счет названия Щелбовские леса,моё личное мнение, получили название от имения Щелбово, находящегося на южной стороне озера Тиосто Тиостянской волости Городокского уезда. reply
