Покровская церковь в селе Старый Сокол, деревянная, построенная в 1800 году прихожанами, возвратившимися к православию в 1834 года. Штатного годичного жалованья причту 236 руб. Земли усадебной, пахатной и сенокосной до 50 десатин. Прихожан мужского пола 458 душ и женского 457 душ.
