Czy możliwe, że moi prapradziadkowie (urodzeni w Kijowie w drugiej połowie XIX wieku), mogli trafić tam z rodzinnych Śwityczów? Ich nazwisko brzmiało Switocz/Switecz. Czy ktoś mógłby podpowiedzieć?

Здравствуйте, Jędrzej Uszyński. Ответить на Ваш вопрос можно следующим способом. В НИАБ г. Гродно есть опись имения Свитичи за 1845.. . 1847 г.г. В описи содержатся посемейные списки всех жителей имения и деревень, которые входили в данное имение. Можно изучить данное дело, и по фамилиям определить связь с Вашими предками. Можно и глубже копнуть: есть посемейные списки за 1795 год в Ревизских сказках. Измените свои настройки приватности, в Ваш адрес нельзя отправлять сообщения!
