Wierszuniszki folwark was the family home of the Aukstolis - in residence in 1938 were Monika Aukstolis (nee Adamowicz-Meszka, Kazimierz Aukstolis, Jozefa Aukstolis (nee Kamilewicz), Boleslaw Aukstolis, Stanislawa Boleslawa Aukstolis, Kazimierz Stanislaw Aukstolis

The entire family with the addition of Felicia Aukstolis (nee Gudan) were deported to the Soviet Union on the 21/6/1941 and susequently Stanislawa Boleslawa Aukstolis (aged 6) died whilst being transported on a barge on Amur Darya river in Siberia whilst the remainder of the family were able to safely reached Persia/Iran in early 1942.

Tragedy struck the family as both Jozefa Aukstolis (nee Kamilewicz) and Boleslaw Aukstolis died in Teheran, Persia/Iran - Kazimierz Aukstolis being part of the Polish 2nd Corps departed with the Polish army on his travels throught the middle-east a finally Itally whilst Monika Aukstolis (nee Adamowicz-Mejszka), Felicia Aukstolis (nee Gudan) and Kazimierz Stanislaw Aukstolis found themselves at a settlement camp of Tengeru in Tanganika/Tanzania from 1942 - 1948/9.

Reunited in United Kingdom in 1948/9 were Kazimierz Aukstolis, Monika Aukstolis (nee Adamowicz-Mejszka), Kazimierz Stanislaw Aukstolis and finally Felicia Aukstolis (nee Gudan)reply
