My name is Ihar Vladimirovich Zhyhalka, i'm 49 years old. My family and I live in the Republic of Belarus. I'm trying to restore a family tree model of our family.
To date, I have been able to find out that in XVIII-XIX my ancestors lived in the territory of present-day Belarus, Novogrusky region, in the village of Yatvez (according to some sources also referred to as Yatvis or , Yatvisya)
Zhyhalka family could have been separated by wars. Some stayed in Belarus, while the others fled the country at a time of war or just emigrated.

Приветствую Всех, кто имеет отношение к фамилии Жигалко (Żyhałko, Żyhałka, Żygałko, Żygałka, Zhyhalka, Zhyhalko, Zhygalka, Zhygalko)!
Меня зовут Жигалко Игорь Владимирович, мне 49 лет. Я и моя семья проживает в Республике Беларусь. В данный момент я занимаюсь составлением своего генеалогического древа рода Жигалко.
На данный момент удалось выяснить то, что в XVIII – ХІХ веках мои предки проживали на территории нынешней Беларуси, на Новогрудчине, в деревне Ятвезь (в различных источниках упоминается так же, как Ятвис, Ятвися), что рядом с Валевкой.
Войны, прошлых веков, могли разлучить наш род Жигалко. Кто-то остался на этих землях, кто-то ушел от войны, да и просто мог эмигрировать в поисках нового места жительства.
Я обращаюсь к вам, моим однофамильцам с тем, чтобы Вы по возможности помогли мне собрать информацию, по моему роду Жигалко.
