Hi. Im grandchild of Jonie Baron son of Haim Baron who came from Shumyachi to Argentina in 1913. He came with others, Locev, Riskin, Hamburg, Sour. I want to know what happen with the family who stayed in Shumyachi. thank youreply

All Jews who stayed in Shumiachi were executed on November 18th 1941 by the local armed people supporting Germans. Same happened in other local villages (e. g. Petrovichi) My family (last name Estrin) lived in Shumiachi in the late 19th century.
I live in Austin, TX now, but also lived in Israel for 8 years.

В местечке Шумячи в 1879 году родился мой дед Могилевкин Абрам Исорович. Имел братьев Ефима и Якова, сестер Этту , Гинду, Хану (?). Был женат на Могилевкиной Хае Моисеевне 1898 года рождения. У них был сын Могилевкин Исай (Исор) Абрамович 1926 г. р. Ищу родных!reply
